Another frantic week in school that just seems to have flown
by. The highlight of the week has been the Year 3, 4, and 5 production of
‘Aladdin’. It was a brilliant production and all those who saw it said how much
they enjoyed it. The children did themselves and the school proud. I would like
to thank all the staff who were involved in putting this show on. It took an
enormous amount of effort and time to put this mammoth production together and
the end result certainly reflected all the hard work that had gone into it.
They certainly deserve their Easter break.
Another high point this week was our girls’ football team
who took part in ‘The Potters Bar Girls Cup Final’ last night. They match was
against Wroxham girls and I am delighted to announce that we won 3-0. I would
like to congratulate all the girls for their excellent performance and also
thank Miss Kenwell and Mr Mills for coaching them.
All that is left for me to do now is wish you all a very
good Easter break. Remember that we return to school on Tuesday, 21st April. It will be the summer term (even if
the weather does not feel like it is) so children can wear summer uniform
although please do not get rid of their winter uniform as we like them to wear
it for their class photographs which will be on Monday, 27th April.
